First Contact (Mini Board)

First Contact is inspired by the haunting idea behind Dark Forest Theory, First Contact captures the moment our presence is discovered and whatever has been listening finally reaches back. I’ve personally always been fascinated by this concept, so here’s my take on the idea, hope you like it!

This limited edition has been crafted from 33m thick Brown Acacia, giving it a heavier, stronger build and a presence unlike our Pine boards. The rich golden brown, natural colour changes and deep grain patterns run through the engraving, making every section of the artwork feel completely unique.

Each board is carefully engraved, sanded and lightly oiled to deepen the natural colour of the Acacia while allowing the character of the timber to remain visible.

Only 6 of these boards will ever be made.

No reruns. No restocks. Once they are gone, First Contact disappears back into the dark.

As this is real timber, grain patterns, joins and natural colour variations will differ between boards.

No two encounters will be exactly the same.
